UF Health is seeking a Supervisor of Care Coordination to provide leadership for delegation, coordination and integration of services within the department. You will supervise and support Care Coordination teams and ensure efficient workflows toward program goals.
The role requires an active Florida Nursing License, BLS, and 3–5 years of clinical acute care experience. BSN preferred, with a plan to obtain BSN if not already held.
The Supervisor of Care Coordinationn provides effective leadership support by the delegation, coordination and integration of services within their assigned departments to assure the provision of quality care. Serves as a resource for the Care Coordination Team and is responsible for maintaining productive workflows toward the goals of the program. This position reports directly to the Administrator of Medical Surgical and Care Coordination Services and provides supervision and direct support to their teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
Education Required: Graduate Accredited School of Nursing
Preferences: BSN. In lieu of BSN, commitment to earn BSN within agreed upon time frame may be required.
Experience Requirements: 3 to 5 years Clinical Acute Care
Licensing Requirement: Active FL Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
BLS provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), required within 30 days of hire.
