Responsibilities

• Support individuals through the employment process, including developing resumes, applying for jobs, and interviewing with potential employers.
• Teach individuals independent job skills and requirements utilizing job task analysis and supports, including assistive technology and personal assistance.
• Assist individuals at their job by analyzing responsibilities, breaking down tasks, and helping complete assignments.
• Identify and resolve problems proactively to prevent crises for individuals, employers, or coworkers.
• Build a support network between individuals and community members.
• Communicate progress updates to employers, families, staff, and management as needed.
• Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and promptly.
• Report on program status regularly.
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required OR high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum two years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to complete all required training per state guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
