Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower clients with developmental disabilities to lead independent, engaged lives. Join a team committed to personalized support, safety, and community integration.

You will work under ISP guidance, provide companionship, assist with daily living, monitor health, and help with job readiness while maintaining accurate records and upholding behavioral plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certifications completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligning with clients' goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support Individuals with job applications and job training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
