Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) trained in Supported Employment to help clients live independently and participate in their communities. You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, provide companionship, monitor health, and help with job applications while maintaining accurate documentation and following plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
• CPR and First Aid training to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISPs aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support clients with job applications and job training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

18 years of age or older

Experience with developmental disabilities (preferred)
