Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. You will help with daily living tasks, encourage independence, and promote community integration.

The role requires CPR/First Aid, a driver’s license, and reliability. Training and development opportunities are provided to advance care skills and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 18+ years of age minimum.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support clients with job applications and job training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
