Job summary

Aruma is seeking a dedicated Support Worker - SIL who will empower participants to live their best lives with dignity and independence. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks, and help participants access community activities in a warm, respectful environment.

You’ll receive comprehensive training, an on-site induction, and opportunities for growth, with a 24/7 roster that includes overnights and weekends to support participants around the clock.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Empower participants to develop skills and achieve goals.
• Provide personal care with dignity including hygiene, meals, and daily tasks.
• Build connections through hobbies, social activities and community events.
• Foster inclusion and create a welcoming environment for every participant.
• Maintain accurate, timely records to support high-quality care.
• Support across a 24/7 roster including overnights and weekends.
