Support Worker | Residential at Collaborative Support Programs of NJ

Join us at CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit, as a full-time Support Worker. You will work with individuals recovering from psychiatric disabilities and/or substance abuse, providing supportive services to help them live independently and achieve their goals. The role involves primarily fieldwork, meeting clients and supporting their progress.

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Benefits include 6 weeks PTO and 11 holidays
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hourly Rate: $19.23 - $21.63 based on credentials and experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience
• Ability to write clear, concise progress notes
• Exceptional time management skills
• Experience with casework records for Medicaid reimbursement
• At least 55% of each day in direct client contact
• Documentation skills for all contacts
• Commitment to helping others, excellent communication, empathy, problem-solving, patience, and resilience
• Proficiency in MS Office; bilingual skills a plus
• Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Lived experience with mental health/substance use issues is prioritized
