Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Colchester is recruiting Support Workers to help deliver compassionate care across day and night shifts, supporting nursing staff with admissions, assessments and discharge while upholding dignity and safety.

You’ll work 43.75 hours weekly, with shifts from 7:30am–8pm and 7:30pm–8am, and you’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on learning and safeguarding. DBS check is required; benefits include flexible overtime, coaching, and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Work within Safeguarding guidelines
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
