Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Taunton is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join a multidisciplinary team in a specialist mental health hospital setting. Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, mental health support, learning disabilities, autism or residential/hospital care.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days and nights and weekends.
• Commitment to person-centered support and safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and support to service users, patients and residents
• Offering emotional and practical support to help individuals feel safe, respected and understood
• Supporting people with daily routines, independence and wellbeing
• Learning about each individual's specific needs and providing person-centred support
• Assisting with medical, welfare and physical health needs, reporting concerns where required
• Helping to safeguard vulnerable adults and maintain professional boundaries
• Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment
• Working closely with colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team
