- Current Support Worker
If you're energetic, caring and enjoy helping people make the most of life, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, established team where your support will have a genuine impact every day.
We're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Crowthorne (RG45), supporting two ladies and two gentlemen aged 40s-60s with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy.
This is a warm, sociable home where people enjoy spending time together and exploring various interests. You'll play a key role in supporting people to live independently, maintain relationships and enjoy the activities that matter most to them.
One gentleman communicates using gestures and sounds rather than words, and one person uses a wheelchair when out and about. Building strong relationships and understanding each person's communication style is an important part of the role.
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
Experience is helpful but not essential — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
We welcome applications from everyone who has the right to work in the UK, and value diversity in our workforce.
As Disability Confident Leaders, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy - Dimensions has been awarded this symbol by Jobcentre Plus to recognise our commitment towards the employment, retention, training and career development of disabled employees.
As part of our commitment to making reasonable adjustments we can offer support to complete your application.
We now have British Sign Language (BSL) translated videos for all of our recruitment communications.
