Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, through its Grow Nurturing Families program, is seeking a Family Support Worker in Topeka to provide case management and connect families with resources. The role pairs you with a PCIT Therapist, delivering weekly home visits and coordinating services for families with children aged 2-7.

The position offers a flexible schedule, hybrid work, 20 days of PTO plus 13 holidays, mileage reimbursement, and company cars.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management and coordinating community resources.
• Ability to work in a team with a PCIT Therapist.
• Interest in serving families and kids ages 2-7.
• Completion of Predictive Index assessments.

Do you love working with kids? We do! Grow Nurturing Families provides PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) to families with kids ages 2-7. PCIT is an evidenced based model that uses play therapy to emphasize praise and positive interactions, as well as quality time between caregivers and children.

As a Family Support Worker within Grow Nurturing Families, every day is different! Family Support Workers work in a dyad with a PCIT Therapist. The Family Support Worker is responsible for case management services and finding community resources for the families, while the Therapist focuses on clinical interventions. Family Support Workers are provided families to work with, engage, and schedule your own weekly home visits with each family. Family Support Workers also participate in case staffing's, supervisions, completing documentation, and accessibility to many child welfare trainings.
