Job summary

Cygnet Fountains in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our high-support inpatient service. You’ll work full-time (42 hours) across days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, delivering compassionate care to men with complex needs.

Responsibilities include promoting wellbeing, assisting with medical and welfare needs, and safeguarding residents in a safe, clean environment. DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Cygnet Fountains.

You’ll be working

full time, 42 hours a week

at Cygnet Fountains (working days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays).

Cygnet Fountains

is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or stepping down from secure settings.

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
