Job summary

Voyage Care in Alton, a welcoming residential service, seeks compassionate Support Workers to help people gain independence and participate in daily activities. You’ll support with personal care, encourage community engagement, and share in teaching life skills to build confidence and self-reliance.

Successful candidates will have a full UK driving licence, demonstrate resilience and flexibility, and follow Positive Behaviour Support plans. DBS checks and references are required for all offers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans is preferred.
• Reflective practice and professional development are encouraged.

Typical Shifts are: 7:30am – 9:30pm / 7:30am – 2:30pm / 2:30pm – 9:30pm including every other weekend

As a support worker with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our residential service in Alton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same!
You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
