Job summary

The Hampton Social is hiring for a part-time front-of-house role in Virginia Beach, VA. You will deliver food and beverages, announce dishes, and assist with guest service in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

This position operates on a service-charge pay model with commission-based earnings and may include tips. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; training on allergy procedures and proper packing will be provided at interview.

Responsibilities

• Promptly deliver food and beverages to tables, ensuring accurate presentation and order completeness.
• Announce dishes and beverages to guests upon delivery.
• Follow all allergy procedures and communicate any special guest instructions clearly.
• Clear and reset tables within one minute of guest departure, following restaurant specifications.
• Remove dirty dishes, glassware, silverware, and debris promptly throughout service.
• Crumb, wipe, and maintain table cleanliness throughout the dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly and proactively anticipate their needs.
• Communicate guest requests or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with wrapping leftovers and ensure proper packaging.
• Maintain service areas with adequate stock of supplies throughout the shift.
• Transport dirty dishes to dish areas and ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
• Complete all assigned side work and cleaning tasks to standard.

This position is part of a Service Charge pay model and is compensated primarily through commission-based earnings from service charges on guest checks shared among front of house team members.
