Buckelew Programs is seeking a Relief Support Services Worker for the Athena House program, a residential treatment setting for women in the North Bay. You will assist detox counselors, perform clerical and data entry tasks, maintain a safe environment, manage inventory, and organize records to support a positive client experience and mission-driven workplace.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of data entry and clerical experience.
• Experience with mental health or co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification or CAARR training a plus.
• Familiarity with AA/NA Twelve-Step programs strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor facility cleanliness and safety and maintain a hygienic environment.
• Track client movement in and out of the facility.
• Answer front desk phone calls and client questions; maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings; support program structure and mission.
• Serve as the designated medication management person on shift.
• Conduct 30-minute client monitoring including restrooms and MPR; 6-hour vitals checks.
• Inventory belongings for intakes on shift; manage calendar appointments as directed.
• Conduct urine analysis testing for intakes as appropriate.
• Primary transport for clients and medications as determined.

Join Buckelew Programs and play a pivotal role in making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges in the North Bay.We are hiring relief Support Services Workers to join our Athena House program, a residential treatment program for women. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility by assisting detox counselors, supporting clerical and data entry tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, managing inventory, and organizing historical records. Through this work, the Support Services Worker contributes directly to a positive client experience and a workplace culture rooted in Buckelew’s mission and values. Relief staff work shifts as available and may be day, swing and overnight.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor facility cleanliness and safety, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment.Track client movement in and out of the facility.Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality at all times.Actively participate in staff meetings and required training sessions.Support the program’s structure and uphold its mission in all aspects of your work.Support Services Worker will always be the designated medication management person on shift.Conduct monitoring every 30 minutes including the MPR and all restrooms.Conduct every 6-hour vitals.Responsible for being positioned at the front desk and answering phone calls and client questions.Inventory belongings for any intakes on shift.Conduct UA testing for intakes as appropriateInitiate calendar appointments for clients at the direction of counselors or managementPrimary transport for clients, medication and other destinations as determined.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum one year of experience in data entry and general clerical work.Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred.Familiarity with AA/NA Twelve-Step programs is strongly preferred.Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor or enrollment in an approved training program (CAARR or equivalent) is a plus.Skills & AbilitiesIntermediate computer proficiency, with data entry and typing skills (minimum 45 WPM).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask, work both independently and as part of a team.Compassionate, professional, and supportive approach with clients.Willingness to learn and grow in the role.First Aid/CPR certification preferred.Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.If in recovery, must have at least two years of continuous sobriety.Flexible schedule required, including availability for weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to perform intermittent physical activities including stretching, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting up to 40 lbs.Extended physical activities include walking, driving, writing, standing, sitting, and hearing.Must be able to visually interpret information from printed and electronic sources.Must complete and pass a TB test in compliance with Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs requirements.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, promotes equality, and fosters inclusion.
