Overview
This position is located at NAF Support Services – Fort Irwin, California.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control assigned activities within the Administration and Operations Branch.
- Create and manage databases for information gathering and reporting for evaluation purposes.
- Perform supervisory duties and support service functions essential to a large directorate, including records management, personnel security, classified information, and purchases.
- Serve as classified documents custodian, publications officer, and assistant supervisory security manager.
- Exercise independent judgment in personnel security, tracking of government purchase card purchases, and general office administrative functions.
- Control correspondence and preparation, briefings, processing of civilian awards, and conduct of special projects, studies, reports, and internal control actions.
- Maintain safety requirements and emergency contingency operations.
Qualifications

Required qualifications include:
- Knowledge and understanding of support services principles, practices, methods, and techniques.
- Progressively responsible work experience equivalent to at least the next lower pay level.
- Knowledge of military administrative management policy or procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience designing and managing recurring reports and electronic databases.
Highly preferred criteria include:
- Two or more years of experience as an Office Manager or Operations Officer.
- Two or more years supervising a team of at least three office/administrative staff.
- Subject matter expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
