American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. Join our team and celebrate with us! As a Support Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and life's special moments by making the world more thoughtful and caring. You will work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap, accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay is $13.50/hour, with two increases in the first year. The rates are subject to change based on location.
• Pay increases to $14.30 after 6 months, and to $15.00 after 1 year of employment.
• Flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match are provided.

Route and Schedule

This route services the retail location at 11250 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817. The average weekly hours are 1 hour, increasing to about 5 hours during holidays. Additional support may be required with multiple days in succession and longer hours around holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service stores on your route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products, maintaining backroom areas, and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule issues.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, managing time and organization effectively.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during retail hours.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, and relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedules using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation and internet access are required.
• Comfortable using a company tablet.
• Availability for occasional weekends and holiday periods.

Physical Demands

Work involves standing, walking, stooping, and squatting. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
