Method Co., a boutique hospitality company, is seeking a dedicated Server Assistant for Lowland, its boutique retreat in the Charleston area. You will support the front‑of‑house team, help servers deliver dishes promptly, and keep dining areas polished and inviting.

Ideal candidates are attentive, hardworking, and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting, with weekend availability and the ability to stay on your feet for extended periods. Health benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented and proactive.
• Able to stay organized and efficient during peak service.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by running food and delivering beverages.
• Clear and reset tables quickly between guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room, stations, and back-of-house areas.
• Polish glassware, silverware, and plateware as needed.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Contribute to opening, closing, and side-work duties.

About the Role

The Server Assistant supports the front‑of‑house team by ensuring smooth, efficient service and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. This role is essential to the guest experience — helping servers deliver dishes promptly, resetting tables with care, and keeping the dining room polished and organized. Ideal candidates are attentive, hardworking, and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support servers by running food, delivering water, and replenishing table items

• Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly between guests

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and back‑of‑house areas

• Assist with polishing glassware, silverware, and plateware

• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff

• Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards

• Contribute to opening, closing, and side‑work duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
