Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL seeks a Support Equipment Engineering Manager 2 to lead a team designing, building, testing, and procuring E-2C/D Hawkeye equipment for USN and FMS programs. The role is full-time in the office with ~10% travel, including potential international travel.

You will supervise engineers, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution while maintaining security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM with related professional/military experience.
• Experience executing and leading mechanical and/or electrical design, manufacturing and test.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance or higher with recent update.

Responsibilities

• Manage design concepts and lead preliminary and critical design reviews.
• Mentor development of test documentation and oversee verification activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers for effective collaboration.
• Develop and execute program schedules and budgets per directives.
• Plan and manage Earned Value Management for work packages.
• Provide detailed reporting to upper leadership and support proposals.
