  • Housekeeping, Incident Investigation, and Risk Analysis on the floor.
  • Support quality systems and cost saving initiatives.
  • Assist with performance reviews and employee relations.

Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet demand | Follows established procedures for operating various manufacturing equipment | Sets up equipment feeding, speed and temperature for optimal performance | Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing | Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations | Responsibilities are within the Manufacturing/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing production employees during operation.
  • Assist in driving process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Assist in managing a variety of projects and work in a team environment to accomplish tasks.
  • Actively participate in implementation of Mission Directed Work Teams and Lean principles.
  • Actively work with QEHS Manager on safety programs, initiatives, etc.
  • Support safety systems through awareness and training.
  • Support a flexible work environment by helping to establish progression plans.
  • Housekeeping, Incident Investigation, and Risk Analysis on the manufacturing floor.
  • Support quality systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing cost saving initiatives.
  • Assist with performance reviews.
  • Assist with employee relations situations.
  • Assist in all aspects of employee development and training
  • Assist in working with production teams.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Organizational Skills: Must be able to take a follow directions.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.

Problem Solving: High degree of analysis, problem solving and creativity.

Technical Skills: Must be able to solve mathematical problems at the high school level. Must also have some basic hand tool skills. Must pass a forklift training class.

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience required: 3-5 + year in manufacturing role is a plus.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. several times each day.

Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time. Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis. The wearing of contact lenses is prohibited.
