Atec, Inc is seeking an Assist Support Engineer to help research electrical, electronic, and mechanical design and obsolescence issues on existing products and build-to-print jobs. You will review drawings and BOMs, and use ERP to requisition parts and track progress, while coordinating with field support teams.

Travel to field installations and maintenance schedules is required. Maintain customer relationships and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards and internal procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year BSEET or BSMEET preferred; or 2–4 years’ experience with applicable engineering applications.
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel; CAD/CAD LITE experience; familiarity with MIL-SPEC and DOD-STD-100 a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist Support Engineers with research of electrical, electronic, and mechanical design and obsolescence problems.
• Review drawings and BOMs to reflect design updates from engineering.
• Use ERP software to create purchase requisitions, order parts and track progress of production parts.
• Coordinate with field support requirements.
• Travel to assist field installations and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain customer relationships during installations; report deviations per AS9100/ISO policies.
