Job summary

Metrc is seeking a Support Engineer to join our rapidly growing US team. This role bridges Support and Development, tackling complex system and API issues in .NET (C#) and Node.js, and building internal tooling to accelerate resolutions.

You will analyze logs, write diagnostic scripts, and create thorough JIRA tickets, while collaborating with engineering to implement durable fixes and automation. Excellent communication helps translate technical findings for varied audiences.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in technical support or software engineering.
• Experience with .NET (C#) and/or Node.js.
• Familiar with SQL, RESTful APIs, and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex system and API issues.
• Review logs and run traces to diagnose root causes.
• Troubleshoot .NET and Node.js applications.
• Create and manage detailed JIRA tickets with steps and findings.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and drive code-based solutions.
• Build and maintain internal diagnostics and automation tools.
• Proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
