Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Support Engineer to join their team.
  • Summary: The client is looking for an enthusiastic and fast-learning Support Engineer to engage with both our Customer Support and Engineering teams to provide a highly technical customer support experience for our customers.
  • The candidate should have some experience with developing apps on these platforms to assist customers with queries and problems encountered with the integration.
  • While primarily a customer support role, it will also involve engineering activities like developing sample apps or code, debugging customer issues, understanding SDK code, and applying that knowledge to resolve customer problems.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience with Objective-C, Java, JavaScript
  • Experience providing guidance and validation of software solutions for large online businesses
  • Some experience in mobile app development on iOS and Android; proficiency with tools like Git, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Android Studio, and X-Code
  • Debugging iOS and Android apps
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, CI, and source control
  • Customer support experience
  • Clear and articulate communication of technical issues
  • Strong customer-facing skills via phone and email
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a desire to learn, research, and understand
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to accept criticism and provide feedback, including during code reviews

The pay range reflects the lowest to highest compensation we believe is appropriate for this role at posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors like education, experience, skills, location, and business needs. This range may be updated in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and insurance options. Salaried employees receive paid time off; hourly employees may not unless legally required. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Compensation is only considered earned once paid. The actual amount and availability of pay are at Kforce's discretion and subject to change.
