Job summary

Central State Community Services of Oklahoma seeks a dedicated Support Coordinator to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals, coordinating individualized programs and ensuring DDS compliance. The role interfaces with families, case managers, and healthcare providers to maintain strong communication and quality care.

You will supervise 5+ DSPs, manage benefits and finances, and assist with transportation and community activities to promote competitive employment and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services, social work, or related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for helping others live their best lives.
• Preferred: DSPS supervisor experience at Central State Community Services of Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 5+ Direct Support Professionals, ensuring DDS standards.
• Oversee individualized programs, monitor progress, and complete monthly reviews.
• Coordinate between individuals, families, case managers and providers.
• Maintain documentation and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate health care activities as Health Care Coordinator or back-up.
• Manage benefits, wages reporting, and bill payments.
• Provide transportation and support for medical appointments and community activities.
• Help individuals find volunteer and vocational opportunities.
• Provide on-call emergency support for individuals and staff.
