Hudspeth Regional Center is one of five state-operated comprehensive regional programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, managed by the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Unit I: A first-level supervisory role responsible for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises direct care staff and assists Behavioral Health Specialists in conducting inter-rater reliability assessments. Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures under the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Required Skills: Excellent communication, management, and organization skills; ability to multitask; team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 3-5+ years of relevant experience. Certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) may be required.
