Direct and train Direct Care staff in two ICF/MR community homes in providing physical care and programmatic activities for the persons at the homes. Scheduling days on/off, holidays, vacations for the direct care staff with the approval of the community home director. Ensure that the home is equipped with adequate supplies and groceries; participate in the habilitation planning for the persons at the home. May also be required to work in the absence of Direct Care staff to ensure adequate coverage and perform other duties as assigned. Vacancy at Lumberton Community Homes.

What you'll need to be Successful

Efficient organizational and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Positive work morale. Ability to be flexible in thinking and problem solving. Realistic expectations about the difficulty and challenges of the work. Ability to handle an often-unpredictable work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. May require some college credit by hiring agency and/or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
