The Support Audio Engineer provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for audio systems, software, and hardware to ensure high-quality sound performance for customers and internal teams. This role works closely with product, engineering, and support teams to resolve technical issues and optimize audio solutions in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support for audio hardware, software, and systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve audio issues for customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and development teams to identify and elevate technical problems
- Guide customers and staff on optimal audio setup, configuration, and performance
- Maintain and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides
- Participate in testing new audio products, software updates, and system improvements
- Monitor and report on recurring audio issues, providing insights for product enhancements
- Assist with training and onboarding new users and team members on audio systems
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in audio engineering, technical support, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of audio systems, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and sound processing
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software audio issues
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical issues in a remote environment
- Familiarity with networking, audio protocols, and remote collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting professional audio equipment in live or studio environments
- Certifications in audio engineering, network audio, or relevant technologies
- Knowledge of signal flow, acoustics, and audio standards
- Experience with customer-facing support in SaaS, streaming, or broadcast technology
Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 USD, based on experience, technical expertise, and geographic location
