Job summary

White House Black Market in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time Support Associate to manage inventory processes, assist on the sales floor, and uphold brand standards to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You’ll assist with shipments, restocking, visual merchandising, and price changes, while delivering hospitality-driven service, collaborating with the team, and maintaining store organization and stockroom flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes: properly intake, store, and ticket merchandise for replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom neat and navigable.
• Ensure new products are merchandised on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Execute product restocking and price changes.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with visual directives, floor sets, window changes, signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience reflecting our hospitality culture.

About the role

As a Support Associate, your role places you both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that keep the customer experience running smoothly—processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and ensuring everything is where it needs to be. You're proactive, pay close attention to detail, and keep the team informed about inventory needs. You also uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture.
