Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) seeks a Supply Technician to manage inventory, storage, and property utilization at Fort Polk, LA. The role supports DoD programs including threat simulations and range operations.

Eligible candidates will have 5+ years in military/defense supply, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Outdoor work and deployment may be required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma at a minimum.
• More than five (5+) years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening (SSN, Driver Record, Criminal Background).

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Fort Polk, LA (Vernon Parrish) Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. We currently provide support to the Threat Support Management Office (TSMO) in the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) with services to deploy, operate, maintain, and redeploy relevant threat signal simulators, including unique injection jamming devices, virtual training, virtual infrastructure, and foreign commercial cell phone systems in a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Electronic Warfare (EW) environment in support of DoD and are currently looking to hire a Supply Technician based out of our site located at Fort Polk, in Vernon Parrish, LA. The Supply Technician will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. This will involve using and understanding governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines and will support the needs of a variety of organizations. • Taking or recommending action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Work Conditions: * Conditions will vary as some work will be accomplished outdoors.
• Activities will include 70% Sitting, 25% Walking, 5% lifting.
• Must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS.
• High School diploma at a minimum.
• More than five (5+) years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience
• Preferred Experience: * Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items). * Experience with maintenance database input and data entry * Local purchase execution and tracking * Forklift license * Class B or A CDL * Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
