SA-TECH is a DoD contractor seeking a Supply Technician at Fort Polk, LA. The role focuses on technical supply management, including inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization to support multiple organizations within a range of DoD programs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 5+ years in military/defense supply experience, and relevant licenses (forklift, CDL). U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma at a minimum.
• 5+ years of Military/Defense contracting supply and property control experience.
• Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items).
• Experience with maintenance database input and data entry
• Local purchase execution and tracking
• Forklift license
• Class B or A CDL
• Current Driver’s License; insured to drive work/government/rental vehicles
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance and maintain Secret clearance
• Background screening including SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation

We currently provide support to the Threat Support Management Office (TSMO) in the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) with services to deploy, operate, maintain, and redeploy relevant threat signal simulators, including unique injection jamming devices, virtual training, virtual infrastructure, and foreign commercial cell phone systems in a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Electronic Warfare (EW) environment in support of DoD and are currently looking to hire a Supply Technician based out of our site located at Fort Polk in Vernon Parrish, LA.

The Supply Technician will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. This will involve using and understanding governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines and will support the needs of a variety of organizations.

Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Using analysis to define or recognize the dimension of problems as they arise.
• Collecting the necessary data to establish facts.
• Taking or recommending action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Work Conditions:

• Conditions will vary as some work will be accomplished outdoors.
• Activities will include 70% Sitting, 25% Walking, 5% lifting.
• Must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• High School diploma at a minimum.
• More than five (5+) years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience
• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items).
  • Experience with maintenance database input and data entry
  • Local purchase execution and tracking
  • Forklift license
  • Class B or A CDL
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
