Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a DoD contractor supporting range operations, maintenance, weapons testing, and cybersecurity. The Supply Technician at WSMR/Orogrande, NM will handle inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization across depot and local activities, with conformance to DoD guidelines.

Must obtain a DoD Secret clearance and pass background checks. Requirements include a high school diploma and 5+ years in military/defense supply roles; CDL/ forklift

Qualifications

• Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN).
• Experience with maintenance database input and data entry.
• Local purchase execution and tracking.

Job description

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Orogrande, NM Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. We currently provide support to the Threat Support Management Office (TSMO) in the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) with services to deploy, operate, maintain, and redeploy relevant threat signal simulators, including unique injection jamming devices, virtual training, virtual infrastructure, and foreign commercial cell phone systems in a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Electronic Warfare (EW) environment in support of DoD and are currently looking to hire a Supply Technician based out of our site located at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), base camp at Orogrande, NM. The Supply Technician will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. This will involve using and understanding governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines and will support the needs of a variety of organizations.

Work Conditions

• Conditions will vary as some work will be accomplished outdoors.
• Activities will include 70% Sitting, 25% Walking, 5% lifting.
• Must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

• High School diploma at a minimum.
• More than five (5+) years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience.
• Preferred Experience: Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items).
• Preferred Experience: Experience with maintenance database input and data entry.
• Preferred Experience: Local purchase execution and tracking.
• Preferred Experience: Forklift license.
• Preferred Experience: Class B or A CDL.
• Preferred Experience: Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

• Work Schedules: SA-TECH supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules are program-dependent and range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be different. These alternate schedules are strictly program-dependent and provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
