Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Supply Room Coordinator to oversee day-to-day maintenance and operations in the stockroom. Responsibilities include inventory management, item setup in SAP, goods receipts, and supporting procurement with parts organization.

Candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in an industrial environment, and perform related duties as assigned. A high school diploma and experience in stockroom or related roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of on‑the‑job training and safety trainings.
• Experience with stock room operations or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Monthly inventory and cycle counts; create SAP numbers for new items.
• Daily Goods Receipt completion.
• Assist the Buyer with organization of parts and supplies; manage tool and parts locations.
• Write and track work orders.
• Develop and maintain a tool room.
• Submit purchase requisitions for stock replacement.
• Issue out stock.
• Attend required trainings per supervision.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management.

Primary Objective:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance, repair, and operations crib. Responsible for accurate inventories, adding new items in a timely manner, and parts ordering based on minimum and maximum levels.

Major Function and Scope:

• Monthly inventory and cycle counts; create SAP numbers for new inventory items
• Daily Goods Receipt completion
• Assist the Buyer with the organization of parts and supplies; responsible for tool and parts location
• Write and track work orders
• Develop and maintain a tool room
• Submit purchase requisitions for stock replacement
• Issue out stock
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
• May be required to use department specific database systems such as: Microsoft Suite, SAP
• At least two years’ experience in as stock room attendant or similar
• Familiar with all modes of transportation
• Operate in a team-based environment
• Good math skills Analytical ability related to problem resolution
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills

Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information:

• May require bending, squatting, climbing, and other physical movement for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Working around moving equipment and in an industrial environment
• Working in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures
