Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Supply Planner to lead and optimize supply planning across assigned sites. You will develop rolling 18-month plans, manage inventory/backlog, and act as the liaison between demand and supply planning in site-level SIOP processes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, with responsibility for team leadership and adherence to planning standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Supply Planning for assigned sites.

• Knowledge of SIOP and Integrated Business Planning.
• Ability to identify supply constraints involving labour, materials, machines, external suppliers, and contracted manufacturers.
• Demand and supply gap impact analysis across service, cost, inventory, and P&L.
• Supply planning performance management, root-cause analysis, and countermeasures.
• Inventory management and ability to drive actions toward budgeted targets.
• Supply planning system/ERP experience, including maintenance of planning parameters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Planning process for the assigned US sites
• Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling Supply Plan covering COGS and standard hours, plus Inventory and Backlog plans
• Facilitate communication between Demand Planning and Supply Planning as the supply-side point of contact
• Represent Supply Planning in site-level SIOP processes
• Develop, document, update, and challenge assumptions supporting the supply plan
• Identify future constraints on critical resources based on demonstrated output levels
• Analyze demand and supply gaps and their impact on service, cost, inventory, and P&L
• Propose gap-mitigation alternatives with Production, External Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Finance
• Manage supply-planning performance, analyze discrepancies, and implement process improvements
• Provide summaries of sensitivities, vulnerabilities, and opportunities related to relevant KPIs
• Ensure consistency with XPS Supply Planning standards across assigned sites
• Build inventory outlooks and drive actions to meet budgeted targets
• Support product phase-in/phase-out activities from a Supply Planning perspective
• Upload supply plans to the ERP/system and maintain planning parameters
• Provide expert process support to improve Supply Planning and SIOP
• Manage and improve Supply Planning tools and data
• Support Production and SIOP with various supply topics
• Lead, support, and develop the local team of direct reports
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Production/Operations, Procurement, Finance, Product Managers, Quality, and SIOP Excellence
