Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced leader to own global supply planning performance across the Americas and EMEA. You will set targets for inventory, service levels, and tooling, and lead Supply Planning Managers across regions to ensure the 8-month forecast is translated into actual buys and production.

You will run monthly forecast reviews, publish the 5-month forward supply match for executives, and proactively identify constraints to enable Demand Planning and Sales to adjust.

Qualifications

• Experience in global supply planning and inventory management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with forecasting processes and tooling purchases.
• Retail in-stock recovery strategies experience.
• Ability to drive KPI attainment (OTIF, days-on-hand).

Responsibilities

• Own global supply planning performance across the Americas and EMEA / Rest of Globe.
• Set inventory, service, tooling, and supply planning targets.
• Lead Supply Planning Managers across the Americas and EMEA, with indirect leadership of Leads, Planners, and Junior Planners.
• Deliver the locked 8-month forecast from a supply perspective by ensuring supply is bought, produced, and positioned for shipment.
• Run monthly forecast reviews at category and item level, assigning owners for material misses.
• Consolidate and publish the 5-month forward supply match for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify lead-time, capacity, tooling, and material constraints early enough for Demand Planning and Sales to adjust.
• Manage earliest product availability against launch and replenishment dates
• Own retail in-stock recovery at Target and defend Walmart through weekly account-team reviews and SKU-level actions.
• Drive finished-goods inventory health, including aged and obsolete liquidation, days-on-hand targets, and cross-border transfers
• Build and operate the approval gate for Supply Planning tooling purchase orders
• Chair monthly Supply Planning Reviews and represent Supply Planning in monthly S&OP / S&OE executive reviews
• Own seasonal cycles, modular resets, China/HK holiday shutdown planning, and global production allocation
• Hold factory production output to plan through HKPPC and Supply Planning Managers
• Resolve allocation conflicts and approve air freight, expedites, and shortage recovery actions
• Publish and manage the department operating calendar
• Deliver target outcomes for forecast attainment, supply matching, retail in-stock performance, tooling spend, inventory, OTIF resets, and successor development
