Job summary

Ford in Dearborn seeks an Analyst, Supply Operations to identify and resolve operational risks before they affect manufacturing. You will manage a caseload of distressed production suppliers, develop mitigations, and drive actions to protect Vehicle and Powertrain production.

You’ll analyze schedules, performance metrics, and implement corrective actions, while leveraging AI, analytics, and tools like Power BI to improve risk visibility and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, supply operations, or production control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess operational risks and prioritize solutions to minimize production losses.
• Manage distressed suppliers and drive corrective actions to protect Ford production.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies for Vehicle Assembly and Powertrain.
• Analyze supplier schedules and performance metrics to identify risks and support resolutions.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving and deploy Ford resources as needed.
• Summarize issues and communicate business impacts to leadership.
• Leverage data, AI, and analytics to improve decision-making and efficiency.
