Job summary

U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking a position within a National Interagency Support Cache (NISC) unit.

The role provides administrative assistance and support for supplies and equipment, focusing on supply management, database utilization, and document processing for large-scale property management. The candidate will work with the NISC system to maintain accountability records, screen procurement requests, and ensure accurate transactions while supporting program operations through

Responsibilities

Maintains supplies and equipment and handles database utilization and document processing for all phases of NISC.
Uses NISC to maintain accountability records and files, document inventory disposition and changes, and screen procurement requests.
Evaluates supply management codes and delivery information to ensure transactions are accurate.
Recommends new solutions and responds to inquiries related to findings from internal and external contacts.
Monitors and maintains nonstandard program information using the closed-loop inventory system.
Creates and commits approved level purchase orders for final review and signature.
