Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, storage, refurbishment, and shipment of equipment and supplies for fire suppression and emergency activities.
• Ability to develop cache management plans and incident support policies.
• Experience preparing cache management and fire loss information reports for incidents.
• Experience coordinating emergency situations and establishing levels of personnel and equipment.
• Combination of specialized experience and graduate education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a National Interagency Support Cache (NISC) providing supplies and equipment.
• Plan, budget, administer, and manage cache operations for incident support.
• Evaluate personnel, budget, and material requirements to develop work plans.
• Coordinate procurement, receipt, storage, and refurbishment of supplies for emergencies.
• Prepare reports on cache management and incident support operations.
