Job summary

The Defense Information Systems Agency seeks an Inventory Management Specialist for the National Capital Region. You will perform property accountability duties, manage PPE inventories, and coordinate data links between procurement and property systems within a security-focused environment.

The role emphasizes developing SOPs, improving processes, and applying enterprise-level logistics knowledge to evaluate quality and ensure accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
• Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, required.
• Specialized experience is defined as: Experience utilizing property accountability systems to conduct inventory and monitor property; OR experience coordinating with stakeholders on matters pertaining to property management and accountability; OR experience drafting property and warehouse Instructions or SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for property and PPE inventories, reporting and accountability.
• Coordinate linkage of financial and property data from procurement and property systems.
• Develop and implement property and warehouse SOPs and procedures.
• Provide guidance on enterprise property management and quality assurance processes.
• Perform duties of an APO within the Property Management Branch, NCR.
