Crystalia Glass LLC is expanding its Supply Engineering team in the United States. The Supply Engineering Team Lead will manage four Supply Engineers, drive procurement operations, and optimize supplier relationships across US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The role emphasizes leadership (80%) with hands-on procurement support (20%), ensuring materials availability, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex glass projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply engineering on the US market.
- Experience managing a team of engineers.
- Experience working with suppliers across international markets (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia).
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
- Experience with ClickUp or similar task-management tools.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Fluent Russian is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
- Review drawings to prepare accurate material lists and ensure compliance.

- Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, and Warehouse teams.
- Drive procurement process improvements and optimize workflows.
- Report progress and risks to the Chief Technical Officer.

With production facilities in both the United States and Europe, we deliver high-quality solutions to customers across the U.S.
As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Supply Engineering team and are looking for an experienced Supply Engineering Team Lead to help scale our operations, optimize supply processes, and lead a high-performing team.
The Supply Engineering Team Lead will report directly to the Chief Technical Officer and lead a team of four Supply Engineers.
Approximately 80% of the role focuses on team leadership, coordination, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, while 20% involves hands‑on supply engineering activities to support the team during peak workload, employee absences, or complex projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement operations, developing internal processes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Procurement operations
- Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring the availability of required hardware and materials
- Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs
- Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate material lists
- Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before placing orders
- Track engineering documentation and procurement changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure procurement documentation and component orders are completed before production and container arrivals
- Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Manage purchasing activities for production, warehouse, and installation operations
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, logistics, and delivery issues
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization
- Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams
- Support engineering changes, material substitutions, and procurement planning
- Provide procurement expertise, material recommendations, and pricing information for projects
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and technical documentation
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers
- Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor project deadlines
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide coaching and performance feedback
- Review procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders prepared by the team
- Support engineers with complex sourcing challenges and supplier escalations
- Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders across departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize procurement workflows
- Report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer
- 3+ years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a similar engineering procurement role on the US market
- Previous people management or team leadership experience
- Experience working with suppliers across international markets, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools
- Experience working with task management systems such as ClickUp or similar
- Fluent English is a must
- Fluent Russian will be a plus
