Job summary

Meritum Energy Holdings in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Supply Coordinator to help move products through the supply chain. You will coordinate purchasing, monitor inventory, assist with logistics, and provide reporting and analysis to support reliable product availability and cost-effective operations.

The role works with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to maintain high service standards, manage propane, refined fuels, lubricants, and related supplies, and help optimize procurement

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, management or related field.
• 1–3 years of supply chain management experience.
• Experience in oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase order coordination and tracking; initial ordering admin support and status updates.
• Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or disruptions.
• Support Tank Monitoring program with daily and weekly reporting.
• Prepare pricing reports for total delivered pricing optimization.
• Coordinate transport logistics and BOL details with suppliers and operations.
• Assist with procurement processes and supplier relationship management.

Working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers, this role helps maintain reliable product availability, accurate inventory, and cost-effective supply chain operations while supporting the company's quality and service standards.The Supply Coordinator supports the procurement and distribution of propane, refined fuels, lubricants, DEF, storage tanks, tank monitoring equipment, and other operational supplies.This position is based in our support office in San Antonio, Texas.Duties/Responsibilities:Purchase order coordination and oversight including initial ordering administrative support, tracking orders, providing status updates and ensuring inventory set up in systemProvide notice of any order or inventory management issues including critically low stocks, delivery delays, inability to fulfill an order, inventory discrepanciesHelp monitor supply order performance and flag potential disruptionsTank Monitoring program support including daily and weekly reportingPrepare pricing reports and analytics as requested for total delivered pricing optimizationMonitor Bulk Storage Tank Inventory product levels and help coordinate Transport deliveriesAssist with any BOL coordination or reconciliation with supplier and internal operationsProvide contract administration support for products and maintain contract performance tracking and analysis as neededAnalyze supply chain data and performance metricsAssist with reviewing procurement processes and identifying opportunities for improvementSupport and help maintain long term relationships with key suppliers and carriersSupport inventory optimization through the value chain to help drive profitability and security of supplyMonitor regional/national pricing and supply chain conditions and provide recommendations to support demand planningProvide market insights and pricing support to retail operations as requestedSupport as needed routing and dispatching of propane transportsThe absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position.Education and/or Experience:Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, management or related field with experience or related skills; or a combination of experience and education1-3 years of supply chain management experience and/or experience in the oil and gas industrySkills/Abilities:Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and adapt to prioritiesStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsRelationship builderGood listening skillsPrefer commodity supply chain, pricing and logistics experienceInventory management and asset optimization skillsProficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteService-orientedPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerRegularly and safely lifts, carries, and handles supplies and equipment weighing at least 20 poundsThe employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouchMust pass pre-employment screening and background checkThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work that is expected to be performed.
