Job summary

McAdams Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Marshall, TX, seeks a proactive Customer Service Representative to engage customers by phone, email, or in person, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. This role acts as a liaison between customers and the company, handling orders and information with a service-oriented mindset.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in customer service, experience in high-volume call settings, and knowledge of the oil/propane industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Experience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred).
• Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company.
• Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
• Forwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
• Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
