Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Store, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general and medical supplies and equipment.
• Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for stock and non-stock items.
• Picks supplies for distribution and restocking carts and clinical areas.
• Check locations for expired/recalled products and remove per policy.
• Distribute oxygen tanks and minor equipment to units as needed.
• Deliver supplies to nursing units, clinics, and other locations using signature technologies.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and customer service requests.
• Process issues and credits in the ERP system with correct cost allocation.
• Report inventory discrepancies and document per policy; assist with cycle counts and inventories.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and ensure par locations are stocked.
• Assist with training Supply Chain staff; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, store, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, surgical supplies and equipment throughout various healthcare settings.

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
• Stores supplies in clean rooms, carts, and supply areas, using proper rotation. Scans inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items.
• Picks supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts, and restocking Exchange Carts such as Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays.
• Checks various supply locations for expired or recalled products and removes them per policy.
• Distributes oxygen tanks and minor equipment.
• Delivers supplies and packages to nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.
• Responds to phone calls, emails, and customer service requests.
• Processes issues and credits in the ERP system, ensuring correct cost allocation.
• Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy.
• Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Utilizes various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace and ensure par locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash.
• Assists with training Supply Chain staff.

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
