Job summary

Prisma Health, in the Corporate Materials Distribution Center, is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of general, medical, and surgical supplies on the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm).

Under general supervision, you will process Purchase Orders, perform inventory tasks, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience - No experience required; automated supply/distribution experience preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - able to learn software quickly and type proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receives Purchase Orders in the system and stages supplies for delivery.
• Performs put away of receipted product.
• Replenishes inventory in low unit of measure locations from bulk locations.
• Picks orders and packs them in appropriate containers.
• Stages orders in appropriate delivery zones and prepares them for shipping.
• Operates hand trucks and other equipment to move stock for shipment.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies in the Distribution Center. Performs receipt of Purchase Orders into the system and provides cross-docking services to the facilities. 2nd shift~ 2pm-10:30pm

Essential Functions

• Receives Purchase Orders in the system and stages supplies for delivery.

• Performs put away of receipted product.

• Replenishes inventory in low unit of measure locations from bulk locations.

• Picks orders utilizing various technology platforms and packs them in appropriate containers.

• Stages order in appropriate delivery zones and prepare them for shipping.

• Operates hand truck, carts, dollies, “man-up” order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment.

• Keeps shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized; maintains a tidy shipping supply area; and follows all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Assists with special projects.

• Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy.

• Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements
