Job summary

Prisma Health's Materials Distribution Center seeks a detail-oriented team member to receive, store, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies. The 2nd shift runs from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, using multiple systems to process orders and ensure on-time delivery.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma is preferred. You will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse, learn new software quickly, and contribute to a safe, organized operation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies.
• Process Purchase Orders into the system and provide cross-docking services.
• Operate hand trucks, carts, and order-pickers and prepare orders for shipping.
• Keep shelves, pallets, and workstations clean and organized; follow safety procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Report inventory discrepancies per policy and assist with special projects.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies in the Distribution Center. Performs receipt of Purchase Orders into the system and provides cross-docking services to the facilities. 2nd shift~ 2pm-10:30pm

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
• Receives Purchase Orders in the system and stages supplies for delivery.
• Performs put away of receipted product.
• Replenishes inventory in low unit of measure locations from bulk locations.
• Picks orders utilizing various technology platforms and packs them in appropriate containers.
• Stages order in appropriate delivery zones and prepare them for shipping.
• Operates hand truck, carts, dollies, “man-up” order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment.
• Keeps shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized; maintains a tidy shipping supply area; and follows all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assists with special projects.
• Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy.
• Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements
