Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo is seeking a part-time team member to support service fulfillment, disinfection and sanitation in patient-facing, ancillary or back-office areas. You will assist patients, families and colleagues with care and service in a compassionate, respectful manner.

Hours include 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, every other weekend. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in healthcare; the role emphasizes inventory, data entry, reporting and payment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Trains colleagues and readily assume extra assignments; frontline supply chain support.

Responsibilities

• Handles inventory and data support for 70%+ of the time.
• Performs order processing, data entry, reporting and payment activities.
• Provides service and support to patients, families and guests in line with policies.
• Adheres to applicable laws, regulations and Trinity Health standards.

Performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient facing, ancillary or back-office areas Provides service, support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical & respectful manner. Supports patients, families & guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care & service unique to the patients' & families' expectations / needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to complete additional education, training and competency tests as required.

Experience

• 2+ years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas preferred.
• Trains colleagues & readily assume responsibility for extra assignments.
• Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representatives for complex orders, data entry, reporting & payment activities and initiatives.
• Includes knowledge of all duties described in Technician role.
• 70%+ time provides inventory or data support
