Job summary

Community Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to stock and maintain hospital supplies across departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices. You will report to the Director or Manager of Department and support efficient patient care operations in Missoula, MT.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, replenishment, receiving shipments, data entry, and professional communication at the dock and front desk.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
  • Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
  • Processes outgoing mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
