Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to perform cycle counts, stock medical supplies, receive shipments and manage data in the inventory system. Responsibilities

  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
  • Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
  • Processes outgoing mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:

  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.

What we're looking for
Scheduler/Front Office Registration:

Education: High School diploma preferred.

Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems. Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand). Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire
