Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Scheduler/Front Office Registration team member.

You will support patient care delivery by registering patients, coordinating front-desk operations, and handling clerical tasks. A high school diploma is preferred; strong English communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).

Responsibilities

• Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
• Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
• Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
• Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Processes outgoing mail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
