Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC in Kentucky is seeking an Operations Systems Lead to drive WMS/OMS implementations and optimize distribution processes. This role combines warehouse automation expertise with cross-functional leadership.

You will mentor system analysts, collaborate with IT, operations, and supply chain, and ensure data accuracy and system stability across multiple DCs. Travel 15-25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Distribution Center as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS initiatives including new implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Implement and optimize WMS and OMS for KeHE’s distribution operations.
• Gather and document detailed business requirements with operations, supply chain, and IT teams.
• Translate operational needs into functional specifications and partner with technical teams and vendors.
• Lead or participate in system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), training, and go-live support.
• Act as SME for WMS processes such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and labor tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and drive standardization across distribution centers.
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues with support teams.
• Provide end-user training and develop documentation for knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ERP, TMS integrations.
• Foster cross-functional engagement with Sales, Purchasing, and Transportation to improve supply chain performance.
• Develop BRDs and conduct gap analyses for system enhancements.
• Ensure ongoing system stability, data accuracy, and continuous process improvements.
