Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Ellettsville, IN is seeking an Associate, Warehouse Operations V to support supervisors and managers on the production floor. You will train new employees, address safety, quality, and inventory needs, and provide coverage in various departments while aligning with KeHE’s Mission, Vision and Values.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc., required.
Ability to communicate well both verbally with internal customers and management.
Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
Ability to follow guidelines, work in a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities and goals.

Responsibilities

Completes work on the production floor such as selecting, loading, inventory, loading/unloading, inspection, pallets, etc.
Performs quality checks on products, cases, and pallets.
Verifies accuracy of orders, inventory, and cases.
Trains new hires in the areas of production they are assigned to.
Prepares and submits documentation; communicates with supervisors/managers as needed.
Maintains safe work practices and good attendance.
